Hi ,
is there a dax function that allows powerbi users to tag datasets out of the visuals.
After tagging the datasets, the users should be able to exports the datasets as e.g. csv files
Thanks for your help
Kai

Datasets represent data models. These can contain many tables. There is no way you can export that to csv. This is a similar request like trying to connect to an OLAP cube in import mode. (Sadly that is actually possible, and by connecting to the dataset via SSAS connector and running a DAX query you could presumable create an exportable perspective )
Thank your very very much. I wonder why I cant select datasets just out of one single visual.
I just need to collect they unique keys nothing mnore. In a further step I want to use this selection for filtering the finaly needed datasets. Then I could use the export function of the visual.
any idea?
That's not how Power BI is designed. You can export individual queries, or you can connect to the data model. There's nothing in between apart from the export option to include underlying data - which has its own limitations.
