Upated to December 2023 Power BI Desktop (2.124.1052.0 64-bit (December 2023)) and now DAX Studio will not connect to any of the semantic models. This was working just fine up through until the PBI Desktop upgrade.
Get the below error - this is from a semantic model of one table and there are no duplicate field names in the table.
Does anyone have suggestions as to how to fix? I use DAX Studio daily to improve the semantic models and this is heart-stopping if no longer can use DAX Studio.
Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous
I was seeing a similar message recently.
It turned out that my installed version of DAX Studio was a few versions behind, and installing the latest version (3.0.11) appeared to fix it.
Which version of DAX Studio do you have installed, and does updating fix it?

Thank you for your contribution. I was having the same issue.
Well I certainly feelish sheepish. Forgot to check version. Owen you are correct, not on version 3.0.11, which should rectify the situation. Unfortunately my company won't allow individuals to run .exe, so have to submit a Service Ticket to get them to update. I'm confident this is the issue.
Thank you!!!
Jonathan
