Hi,
I have a report that pulls files from weekly reports. I'm trying to make a filter so that only the last report from each month is included. Currently I am manually filtering out only the files by report date.
How can I auto filter these out?
Hi @Anonymous
Try creating a new table:
FilteredTable = FILTER ( Table1; VAR MaxInMonth_ = CALCULATE ( MAX ( Table1[Date] ); MONTH ( Table1[Date] ) = MONTH ( EARLIER ( Table1[Date] ) ); YEAR ( Table1[Date] ) = YEAR ( EARLIER ( Table1[Date] ) );
ALL ( Table1 ) ) RETURN Table1[Date] = MaxInMonth_ )
Please always show your sample data in text-tabular format in addition to (or instead of) the screen captures. A screen cap doesn't allow people to readily copy the data and run a quick test and thus decreases the likelihood of your question being answered. Just use 'Copy table' in Power BI and paste it here. Or, ideally, share the pbix (beware of confidential data).
Please mark the question solved when we get to the solution and consider kudoing if posts are helpful.
Cheers
