Hi, All!
I want to format numbers as a currency (always with $ at the beginning). I tryied to use standard format for currency for my calculated measure, because I always use it and it works fine for Revenue measure, i.e. in Excel it shows $213 for value 213. But the problem in my case is that I have a measure "Profit" and it could be negative and I don't want to format negative currency value in brackets (as it format default in tabular cube for currency format), i.e. $-213 it shows in Excel as $(213).
I tried to use custom format: $##,###.##;$-##,###.## instead, but in Excel it shows rubbles (Russian currency). I don't need rubbles, I want dollars! How can I fix it?
Here is an example how it shows my custom format in Excel:

It works for me, both in Excel and Power BI, my currency setting is below. Please change and check if it's differs.

I want to know the logic behind this code $#0.00;$-#0.00;$#0.00
Positive;Negative;?
Thanks for advise! But again I received in Excel rubbles (it's because of loacle I guess and I need dollars)
Here is a screen what I get when use currency English format in cube (first column) and when I use your format string (second column)
