Cumulative Running Total

I am trying to calculate a cumulative total of [payments], but I want it to sum in ascending order of [day]. All solutions I have found start the running total with the largest payments down to the smallest. I want the cumulative total from day 0 - x. Thanks in advance.

Desired Result:

Day         Payment         Cumulative Total

0                 5                             5

1                10                           15

2                 7                            22

3                20                           42

  • Cumulative Total Column =

      VAR __Day = 'Table'[Day]

    RETURN

      SUMX(FILTER('Table',[Day] <= __Day),[Payment])

    Cumulative Total Measure =

      VAR __Day = MAX('Table'[Day])

    RETURN

      SUMX(FILTER(ALL('Table'),[Day] <= __Day),[Payment])

      Update: Your solution works. I tested it on a smaller dataset. But, since it takes too long to load on my dataset, I have made an adjustment to my [Day] column. It is now a text field with less values. Can you modify your solution to work with a text field column please? Thank you in advance for all your help.
