Table 1 :
I also have a date range filter which ranges from 2009 to current date. I want to create a measure to calculate the monthly costs based on the date range filter.
Example :
Total cost = Monthly costs * number of months.
If my date range is set at 1/1/2009 to 1/1/2022, the number of months should be calculated from contractstartdate from table1(not from the date range filter,2009).
so, 20,000 * Number of months(COntractstartdate(Nov2021) to current date(Nov 2022) = 12 months) = 240,000.
This value is then added to Table 2 Value based on contract number. Table 1 And table 2 are related through Contract Number.
Any help with creating this measure is much appreciated.
