Count of Consecutive negative values dax

Hi all,

 

I'm currently having trouble building a measure that is a count of consectuive negative values to find the maximum downside exposure. 

 

I attempted to use the earlier function but it seems that there was problem using it. 

 

I tried this: Measure = Calculate(Countrows(table1),Filter(table1,earlier(table1[prices]<0)) but it seems to require an intial row context.
