Connecting dates from different sheets

Hello,

I have been working on this for a couple of days now and I cannot seem to come up with a solution on this.

I have two tabs in Excel within one sheet. Both tabs have a date column. The issue is when I setup a relationship with those date columns in Power Bi it does not work very well. I think the reason why is because the date date columns are setup like this:

First tab                          Second Tab

Date:                               Date:

01/1/2021                       01/1/2021

01/1/2021                       02/1/2021

01/1/2021                       03/1/2021

01/1/2021

02/1/2021

02/1/2021

02/1/2021

02/1/2021

02/1/2021

02/1/2021

02/1/2021

03/1/2021

03/1/2021

03/1/2021

I am not sure how to get them to connect correclty when the dates look like this. If it still should work, then there must be another issue.

Hi @Anonymous

Could you please expand on the meaning of:

"The issue is when I setup a relationship with those date columns in Power Bi it does not work very well."

Thanks.
