Hi Team,
I have created two tables ( one main and one secondary) that are connected only via the Calendar Table Date column. In the secondary table I have created a measure. I want to use this measure inside a calculated column in the main table as a condition but I receive the following circular dependency error. I already have used the ALLEXCEPT() to remove the column indicated in the error message, but still the problem persists. Thanks for the assistance!!
Please also note that when I am trying to change the relationship between the secondary and the primary I also have circular dependency, not allowing me the filter in both directions
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
Hi, Can you please share the relationship details? Usually from a calendar table to fact table, it will have one-many and most importantly a single directional relationship. Can you please try to update the relationships accordingly.
Hope this helps.
If this help to resolve your problem then please mark it as solution, Thanks!
