Can you use the lookup value function to reference a specific cell and multiply it by a number?

Hello!

I am trying to reference a specific value in a cell and multiply it by a number, 2 times in the same formula, only IF a row indicates an "F" in the type of work column. below is a snapshot of the part I am stuck.

the concept is Calculate=(rate (pulled from a cell in a different table)*8)+(Rate*4)+(cost from a row on a different table) only If a row indicates F for the type of work.

what is the correct formula to use? Calculate and Filter? any other suggestions?

@nicoleclancy91 ,Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.

refer 4 ways (related, relatedtable, lookupvalue, sumx/minx/maxx with filter) to copy data from one table to another
