I am very new to Power BI, so I will do my best to explain. I have a list of cases, which were assigned to staff members. For each case row, I have the staff name and the assigned and closed date. I am trying to calculate the total number of cases open on any given day. Is this possible? Here is a small version of what data I have:
| Case Number | Start Date | End Date | Staff Assigned |
| 5600 | 08/07/19 | 08/16/19 | Staff A |
| 5600 | 08/23/19 | NULL | Staff B |
| 5601 | 6/2/2019 | 12/6/2019 | Staff A |
| 5602 | 7/5/2019 | 10/9/2019 | Staff C |
Thanks!
