Hi all,
I'm using SampleSupterstore dataset and I'm trying to calculate orders only placed in 2016 (Order Date in 2016). I figured out that I had to use the YEAR function as a filter when using the CALCULATE function; however, when I try to get more granular and filter year 2016 in the months of January and February combined, I receive blank values. Does anyone know why this happens? P.S. I'm also using a Date table as well. Here is the function I tried that did not work:

Hi again,
Now that you are using && you are trying to apply the filters simultaniously the sign for or is ||
Alternatively you can just use OR()
So try this:
CALCULATE([TotalSales],YEAR('Date'[Date]) = 2016,'Date'[Month Name] = "January" || 'Date'[Month Name] = "February")
I hope this post helps to solve your issue and if it does consider accepting it as a solution and giving the post a thumbs up!
