Building Slicer with DAX

Here is my problem...

I have two tables, SKU table joined 'many-to-one'  by Supplier_Number with Supplier table.

In the SKU table apprear blank supplier numbers, thus when I create a Slicer by Supplier_Name, I get list of Suppliers and (Blank).

But what I know for sure, is that some of those blanks that have value '8' in the 'Group' field in SKU table should fall under Supplier Name 'A'.

How do I solve this, so that when I create visualisation of SKU and Slicer by Supplier Name, I'm able to pick blanks and all the suppliers in the slicer, but those Supplier Number that is blank and Group = 8 does fall into Supplier 'A' in the results table?

  • Anonymous , As there is blank on join column, You will get blank even in slicer. You can use visual level filter and remove blank .

Also in measure or in page/visual you can remove blank

    Calculate(count(SKU[Group]), not(isblank(SKU[Supplier_Number])))

Unfortunately, this was not exactly what I was trying to achieve. Apologise, if my explanation was misleading.

Basically, I want to see something like below. Hopefully picture speaks for itself.
