Apply Commission on Hierarchy Sales for Entire Path

I wanted to apply different commissions to the various referral levels, e.g. Referral_1 20%, Referral_2 10%, any further referral beyond the 2nd referral 1%. Would it be possible to achieve the same with transitive closure.
