Adding 7 Days to Today Query Editor

Hello,

 

I am using DateAddDays([CURRTARGETCOMPDATE], 7).  Please explain how to correctly add 7 days to a field when using the 'Custom Column' feature in PowerBI.  I really appreciate any help.
