Hello everyone, In Power BI's Matrix and Table visuals, there is a significant feature missing: the ability to hide specific columns without affecting the total column. Currently, the Matrix visual provides Include and Exclude options, but as the names suggest, these options completely remove the selected column(s) from the visual. This also impacts the total column since the excluded data is no longer considered in the calculations. What I propose is an enhancement that allows us to hide specific columns or sub-columns, similar to how it works in Excel. In Excel, when we hide a column, the totals remain unaffected because the data is only hidden from view—not excluded from the calculations. Example Scenario: 1 - Consider a table where some columns display percentage measures, and you want to hide these percentage columns while keeping the total column visible and accurate.   2- It would be very useful to have an easy option to hide these columns without altering the data in the totals, like the "Hide" functionality in Excel.   3- After hiding the selected columns, the table should look like this:   This feature would greatly enhance usability and allow for more flexibility in presenting data in Power BI.     ... Unbilled Dashboard contains many contents like Company Code, Country Brand, Sales Group Name, Sales Employee, Client Short Name Customer Name, Assignment, Sales Document, Actionable, Reason_Code, Billing_Date, Related MSD op#, Unbilled Aging and so on.     I know Assignment is composed by Sales Document and its corresponding item.     In Sales Document, there is Header Start &End date and each item has its corresponding Start &End date (Header Start &End date and item Start &End date may not be the same), item Start &End date is very useful for us, it can let us know the date of the item. The item Start &End date is very useful for us to determine the revenue situation of the project, and most importantly, it can help us visually determine the invoice situation of the project, such as whether the invoice belongs to the first or the last billing and how much of the invoice is expected to be billed and so on. Matrix visual is by default sort the column data on alphabatically and like rows it doesnt give option to sort Matrix column data on using sort by column option. We need greater flexibility and control over report navigation with custom visuals. The current built-in visuals like the Bookmark Navigator and Page Navigator provide the ability to list bookmarks or report pages and enable simple navigation, but their functionality is quite limited.   We need to use these bookmark APIs, so developers can create visuals to list and trigger specific bookmarks programmatically.    By having this APIs, we could, for example, create more advanced navigation menus with more settings. Currently, it is too painful to create bookmarks and distinct formatting for each page in case the built-in page navigator doesn't suit a report.     ... View more

When a semantic model is shared in read only access, the user does not have the ability to to see the details of the dax expression for any measures created in the model. This makes it very difficult to understand how the measure is being used/functioning without seeing the expression. Basically the idea is to add an option to perform the initial full refresh on to Power Bi Desktop before sending everything to the service during an Upload.
