dynamic colors for data bars conditional formatting in Table visual

The Table visual allows you to add data bars as conditional formatting, but the color of the bars can not be conditional. 
Currently, the only option is to set all bars to one static color. 

As a workaround, people have to use two visuals - aligning a Bar Chart visual next to or on top of their Table visual to achieve the desired effect. 

This workaround fails if report readers are expected to interact with the visuals in any way. For example, a report reader sorting a column on the Table visually will not simultaneously sort a Bar Chart.
