How to Show Subcategories of Only Some Categories?

Hi I am trying to create a Table as follows:

Values: Total Number of Animal

Category: Type of Animal (Cat, Dog, Bird, ...)

Subcategory: Domestic, Wild

I would like to just show the Subcategory of Cat only, how should I display that in a table?

Table example:

Animal                      Total

  Dog                           5

  Bird                            4

  Cat                             6

       Domestic              4

       Wild                      2
