There should be option for default Date/Month in Power BI.

When opening the Power BI report, it should have a default Date/Month filter, where we can see the visual based on the current Date/Month filter after that we can select a slicer as per our requirement.

If these features are available then it will be very helpful.
Any way we can achieve this is by writing a calculated column and measures, but if there is any direct option in slicer then it will be very easy.

Try using the custom visual "Date Picker" for having a default value without a measure but I believe the full version for this is paid.

I want there to be a forced select option. If my values in single select slicer are no longer available then the charts come blank. Ideally, the slicer should force select a value if the option is enabled
