Hi there,
is it possible at all and how to dynamically set field for Deneb chart in PowerBI through field parameter
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Sergii_Petrov,
Thanks for using Deneb! Field parameters aren't supported yet, as MS still has them in preview, and their details aren't as available for a custom visual as you would expect them to be in a visual like Deneb. We have it on the roadmap, and this issue contains workarounds that folks have discovered that, while they aren't officially supported, will allow you to use them if you understand the potential maintenance issues.
I expect a suitably supported solution to be in place for Deneb sometime next year (it is currently being worked on, and its approach is detailed in the linked issue for devs to read through and provide feedback on).
Cheers,
Daniel
