Dear Power BI Users,
I am looking forward to your help in resolving issues about boundary in custom maps. I am developing a map for different time periods. SNNPR region in Ethiopia is divided into new regions over time. In 2019 it was splitted to form Sidama and SNNPR. The remaining SNNPR was further divided in 2020 to form South West Ethiopia Peoples and SNNPR. The remaining SNNPR was further divided into Central Ethiopia Regional State and South Ethiopia Regional State and SNNPR in 2023. I want to show these transitions into map across following time horizons Before 2019, 2019, 2020 and 2023. I tried importing topojson file. However it shows me with all four regions and SNNPR. Even though they were formed in different time horizons. Is there a way that I can implement in power BI to show such transitions and show new border demarcation for SNNPR across time. Any help will be greatly appricated. I have included a topojson file with first split in 2019. https://cgiar-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/n_prasai_cgiar_org/EeyJkK6h5rlAgSsja1gTSnMBwNV2suBQ9x...
that's a really interesting premise. My thinking is that Deneb together with a play axis might be able to accomplish that.
