Where does everyone go to download new custom visuals?

I assume there have to be some sites out there for custom visuals that can be used

AppSource is the main resource for approved custom visuals.

Some developer might also distribute their visuals from other resources.

Is there a way to get RSS feeds or something to know when visuals are updated? I basically have to go to each page once a month to keep up to date

Some partners such as ZoomCharts distribute thier paid visuals from their web site. You can also find some visuals in GitHub.

@deasons22, there's no way to get such update. Why do you need to update them each month?

I don't need them each month, but I think of this like staying up to date with any tool. I Just find that new releases happen and there's no way to find out other than going to the visual page and seeing there was an update and then to download the update. Also there's not a lot in the way of a change log to even see what is different. 

Am I missing something?

If visual is released at AppSource other updates will come to all of users automatically.

Unfortunately, there's no API/subscription to get an update for each release.

I'm working on the Report Server version, so how would those update for me?

There's no solution for Report Server so far. We're discussing a better way to deliver Custom Visuals to end-users.

We'll post a blog once it's implemented in all of clients.

do you know of any developers who have their own resources out there? Just seems like there would be a ton of things to hook in and try? Thsi dial gauge thing specifically or some block indicator that has more than just 3 options/ranges
