I can't figure out this individual (team member) have negative space on the Y-axis or the base line not from 0?
Everyone else seem fine . This is hurting my head I cant figure out . Please help! I hope someone experienced this before can guide my thru where i should do my digging. Thanks in advance! (Using "Simple Waterfall" addon visuals)
Hi @dangitkaren
This happens because the bar is being treated as a negative/decrease even though you expect it to start from zero. In Waterfall visuals (including Simple Waterfall), the Y-axis adjusts if one category is mis-classified or returns a blank/negative value.
Fix:
Check that your measure doesn’t return blank or a negative sign for that data point (replace blanks with 0).
In the visual’s formatting, set that bar’s Breakdown type correctly (Increase/Decrease/Total). If it’s wrongly flagged as Decrease, it will create the unwanted negative space.
Once the data sign and category type are corrected, the Y-axis baseline will behave as expected.
What is your expected result, and is that expected result supported by your data deltas?
