Text Filter (custom visual) - issue only in PowerBI Service

Hello,

I have a report which is about 5-6 mil rows, and i use a composed column to search for data into a table.

Everything worked well until few days ago.

If i use the function in pbi desktop everything works well, but in power bi service i get "Resource Governing: This query uses more memory than the configured limit...."

My problem is that i can`t increase the allocated memory for the capacity and I have a feeling that this visual is searching on the entire dataset, and it does not take into consideration the applied filters, and the problem is that the number of rows is way too much.

Anyone has any idea about how this visual really works and what are the options?

Hello, we have the same issue going on here.

The Text filter visual is showing a warning and has a hard time filtering more than 100k rows at once.

Can't something be done about this?
