Sunburst not working on on-premise server

I'm doing a POC with PBIRS running of an SSAS cube and I've added a Sunburst custom visual which works fine on the Desktop. When I publish to the on-premise report server the visual is replaced by the following error: "Your version of Power BI Desktop does not support this custom visual. Please update Power BI Desktop to the lastest version".

The PBIRS optimised desktop is the October 2017 version and the PBIRS version is 1.1.6582.41691

We updated these visuals to API 1.13.0 that is not supported by Report Server.

We're in touch with Report Server team to get this issue resolved for everyone but it will take some time.

Meantime, please import the attached packages instead of loading them from AppSource (marketplace).

Hi @v-viig
We are using version 4.0.0.0 of Sunburst by MAQ. (released: 6/11/2019)

Works in desktop but will not render in our Power BI Report Server.
Can you please offer any advice?

Actually, please ignore this. Turns out it's an issue with Chrome. Everything renders fine in Microsoft Edge.

Hmmmm.... 🤔

Hi @J24,

Sunburst works well in Power BI Report Server March.
We'd recommend that you should upgrade your instance of Report Server.

Hi v-viig,

You didn't get a response from OP but just to highlight that I am experiencing the same issue and can confirm server (and desktop)version March 2018.

Same with tornado charts, incidentally.

Thanks,

Harry.

What verison of Tornado do you use?

How do I check the version of a customer visual?

I got it from the store last week (or the week before), currently this is 1.3.0.0 (but I acknowledge it may have updated in the last few days).

It's not an old doc, new dashboard built from scratch.

Unfortunately, Power BI does not provide any way to get visual version.

We're considering adding such ability.

Ok, I've just built a very basic dashboard containing:

Tornado 1.3.0.0

Sunburst 1.5.0.0

Bullet Chart 1.8.0.0

Card Browser 1.1.1.0

"This Visual is certified by PowerBI" icon appears for the first two.

Only the card browser works in report server, there first three error with "Your Version of Power BI Desktop does not support this custom visual. Please update Power BI Desktop to the latest version". Again I am using March 2018 version for both server and desktop.

Interestingly you can still export the data to excel.

Hi v-viig,

I'm having an identical issue with the GanTT custom visual (also certified). Would you happen to have a working copy? Current version in the marketplace is 1.14.2.0.

Thanks again!

Please use the attached package. It should work in both Report Servers.

Thanks for your reply, I'm not seeing gantt in the file list.

The packages indeed worked for those visuals but it's gantt I'm struggling with now.

Thanks for your help!
