SandDance - icons showing as boxes since last update

Hi,

I'm having trouble with my SandDance visual, as the icons are not showing up anywhere in the visual, but rather just boxes. I'm on the lastest SandDance update (4.1.2.0). They're rendering like this in both PBI Desktop and the web app.

Unfortunately, nobody from MS actively looks at this forum (so it's always been a bit of a mystery why they redirect support here). Perhaps you could try creating an issue in their Github repository?

EDIT: I quickly looked at their codebase and would suspect that the issue concerns the UI framework they're using. By default, this will try to load all icons from a remote resource, and if it can't do that, they will get replaced with the glyphs you're seeing here. If the visual is certified, this process won't work (as remote resources cannot be loaded). Either way, the approach of going to them via their Github repo may provide the fastest method to them getting this resolved for you.

The "Support" link for this custom visual goes to this forum, but yet nobody from Microsoft is providing an answer. Also the sanddance@microsoft.com email listed on their website gets kicked back as failed.

Is this visual not supported anymore?
