Remove blanks from simple waterfall chart

I need help in constructing a waterfall chart removing bars that are blank.

So here are my visuals:

I tried to add a filter to show bars only if the value is not blank. But the drop down menu is anavailable.
How can I adjust my graph?

  • Hi Anonymous ,

    Please follow these steps:

    1. Select the Waterfall chart.
    2. Drag Category to the Category field.
    3. Drag Amount to the Y-axis / Values field.(Change Aggregation from Count → Sum.)
At this point, you’ll see blank bars for Discounts and Ending Balance.
    4. In the Filters pane, drag the Amount field to Filters on this visual.
    5. Choose Filter type: Advanced filtering → is not blank.
    6. Apply the filter → blank bars disappear.
