Recreate a shape map visual in visual studio code

Hello,

I'm wishing to create a custom visual to improve the currently existing "Shape map" visual.
My goal is to add a drill down option an pie chart at the centroïd of each shape.

But I can't find how to create a shape map like visual in visual studio.

Does anyone have a starting point for me ?
