Hi all, i am making a visual where i would like to sort the legend in descending order, meaning the biggest bar on the left and so on. as i am new to powerBi would really appreciate help on this.
@Greg_Deckler i tried it but, it doesnt sort it based on the x axis values, is there a way i can make the legend to sort in descending order accoding to the x-axis values ?
Thanks
@AbSyed To the best of my knowledge no. It is literally the #4 most requested feature and is currently "Planned" https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=6b6f5485-3c57-4584-96dc-42be252595eb
That said, it's been "Planned" for almost 2 years and at the current pace of Power BI Desktop development you might expect it 15-20 years from now.
@AbSyed Select the visual. Select the ellipses ( ... ) in the upper right corner. That is where you will find your sort options. However, depending on the configuration of tha tvisual, you may not have any sort options available. Also, I don't believe under any circumstances that it allows you to sort the legend by the actual value of the data but only by the legend (alphabetical)
