Power BI Custom Theme JSON question

Is there any way to set an image background for specific chart(s) in a Custom Theme JSON? I've been able to add a base64 background image at the page level, but I'm not sure if it's even possible to do on individual visualizations as a JSON setting. I've tried several different ways, and it doesn't error but it doesn't render either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
