I would like to add a zoom in slider to a scatter plot. The x-axis is the date and the y-axis is the data taken every two hours.
When I selected date (no hierarchy), the x-axis zoom in slider was gown.....
I tried to use a line chart, I saw sliders on both axes. However, the line chart will connect all the data with a line. During the period of no collected data, it will add two data points together. It will create misleading to the reader that the machine is running but actually not.
Is there an easy way to display this plot like in excel.? I have so much data, then I decided to use power BI. But it seems very difficult.
Thank you for your help.
I figured a trick. I used a line chart and change the line color to white and the marker to black. Now, it looks like a scatter plot in excel.
