Multi level hierarchy in Gantt chart by microsoft corporation
Hello everyone, I have a requirement of three levels of hierarchy in Gantt chart by microsoft corporation. Like for example Function-Department in first level, worflows in second level, and sub work...
The Microsoft Gantt visual does not support more than 2 hierarchy levels. Other alternative for you could be:
1) Use a Matrix + Gantt workaround
Use a Matrix visual for:
Department
Workflow
Sub-workflow
Use conditional formatting or bars (via measures) to simulate timelines
2) Use a custom Gantt visual (recommended if hierarchy is critical)
Some custom visuals support deeper hierarchies, for example:
xViz Gantt
MAQ Gantt
Other AppSource Gantt visuals
