Multi level hierarchy in Gantt chart by microsoft corporation

Hello everyone,

I have a requirement of three levels of hierarchy in Gantt chart by microsoft corporation. Like for example Function-Department in first level, worflows in second level, and sub workflows in third level . I can just see parent task as of now. Is there any workaround for this?

The Microsoft Gantt visual does not support more than 2 hierarchy levels. Other alternative for you could be:

1) Use a Matrix + Gantt workaround

• Use a Matrix visual for:

  • Department

  • Workflow

  • Sub-workflow

• Use conditional formatting or bars (via measures) to simulate timelines

2) Use a custom Gantt visual (recommended if hierarchy is critical)

Some custom visuals support deeper hierarchies, for example:

• xViz Gantt

• MAQ Gantt

• Other AppSource Gantt visuals
