Marimekko Chart: Bars Become Extremely Thin When Too Many Categories Are Present

The Marimekko chart is showing extremely thin bars because it must display every category, and with hundreds of mills/companies the chart divides the width into tiny segments. It hides behind the bro...

Hi Anonymous  you are getting this because of you have too many items in the categories. Here, are some workaround to fix this issue. 

 

  • Filter your data to show only the top 10 categories
  • Group smaller categories into an "Other" bucket
  • Use a slicer to let users explore the data interactively
