MAQ Sunburst (or Other)

Hello, I am trying to make something that is a combined sunburst/neural chart that visualizes trends by the following layers: Major trends, Minor trends, definition (visualized on a card when users interact with the visual), then further connectors between the minor trends if in a family. 

Want to create something like this: Strategic Intelligence (weforum.org)t

Maybe there is a visual that is already capable of this, and I need to reorganize my excel document to make use of it correctly.
