Lasso Feature - Freeform Lasso & Data Models run on selected Data Points

Hi everyone, I am investigating whether it is possible to lasso specific data points (stores) on a geographical map visualisation, and then the data models feeding into the dashboard can run on those selected data points.

Key questions:

1. I am aware of the rectangle select feature, but ideally we could use a freeform lasso to enhance flexibility and pull in all stores in the desired area. Is this possible via Power BI or any custom visuals such as MapBox?

2. Once the desired stores are selected in the map via either rectangle select or a freeform lasso, can the data models feeding our visualisations run on those specific stores selected?
