I am new to Power BI. I studied coding and I could work fine with DAX and the Power Query but I am very bad with a nice-looking report. Can someones give me ideas of what to do with this?
The idea is when you click on the buttons of PRESALES - DELIVERY - CAS to open a table (with bookmarks) like this:
It works well but the feedback I got is that is ugly and can be improved but I dont know how. Any ideas? It can be changing colours to a different format and re-arranging stuff. If you suggest better colours please include their Code!
Thanks a lot in advanced!
Power BI has a few built in tools, I'd highly recommend looking into the "themes" tab as you can modify element of your dashboard style globally, sorta like css. But when it comes to making your dashboard look asthetic, I'd highly recommend this video by Sjiad.
Which talks about building design systems for presenting information.
Hope this helps.
Learn about the MultiCard visual, and Small Multiples in general.
Ask yourself : "What is the story I want to tell with the data? What are the insights my report users can get from the report? How many clicks does it take them to get there?"
Think about economical use of screen real estate. Any slicers should be eliminated and should move to the Filter pane. Focus the canvas on the visuals that provide insights.
