How to use feature from one custom visual to another custom visual

Hi,

I have a custom visual (Network navigator) with all required functionalities except one . the missing functionality is available in another custom visual(Force directed graph). Is it possible to copy the custom visual code from force dirceted graph to network graph for the specific functionality(for my case it is Adding Link type which is missing in Network graph) and use it.

I tried to add Link type from Force graph to Network graph and import the pbiviz file. Link type is appearing in the field section but the visual is not loading anything.

  

Can someone help if this can be achieved.
