How to set placeholder for a text box(format pane)?

Hi,

 

Can we set placeholder for text box that is being used in format pane of any custom visual?

This will help to make custom visual properties more interactive.

    I'm sorry for giving the wrong information.

    You might use placeHolderText property to specify a placeholder for number and text boxes.

      Hi v-viig,

       

      That is one good option, but it is for tooltip. Can't we have some placeholder kind of thing inside the textbox(same like we get in HTML textboxes)?

        Power BI Custom Visuals API doesn't support place holders.

        I'll consider this idea.
