How to Add a Draggable Visual Indicator Line in Gantt 3.1.2.0 (Power BI)?

Hi everyone,

I’m using the Gantt 3.1.2.0 visual in Power BI and was wondering if there’s a way to add a draggable visual indicator line along the horizontal axis. Gantt chart visuals offer a "Today" line to mark the current date, the ability to manually drag and position such a line would be wonderful. I’d like to be able to move the line manually to track progress dynamically, rather than just using the scroll bar.

Does anyone know if this feature exists or if there’s a workaround to achieve this? Maybe a custom visual or DAX solution?

I’d appreciate any insights! Thanks in advance.

@SherineJVA Hi! The Gantt 3.1.2.0 visual in Power BI does not natively support a draggable vertical line for progress tracking.

you can use this custom visual, Power BI Certified:

In this Visual you have the field: Progress Bar, where you can add the calculated measure:

Measure = TODAY()

Try and let me know.
