Hierarchy Slicer - Multiple selection made on single selection

When I try to click on the Equipment Division, the Ohio Ag Equipment option is selected as well. 

When I click on Equipment again, the option under Ohio Ag Equipment is unselected, but it keeps the selection on the group. 

If I select Ohio Ag Equipment first the behavior doesn't occur.

Also I tried this is with a similar set of slicers to see if it had to do with the name being contained in the second option, but that didn't appear to affect selections. 

I'm on the latest version(1.2.10.0) as well.
