Format Painter on custom visuals

Hello,

Is it possible to implement the format painter, which is available on certain native visuals, on a custom visual?

Users frequently have multiple instances of our visual in a single report. There are a lot of formatting settings for our visual, and it can be laborious to have to either manually change the same formatting settings across multiple visuals, or to copy one "master" but then have to modify measures and groupings for every off-shoot.

I can't find any documentation on this matter, so I don't believe it is possible, but I wanted to check nonetheless.
