I'd like to publish my Power BI custom visual to AppSource. I'm trying to follow the process at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/office-store, but ran into a bit of a roadblock.
I created an account in Partner Center using my custom domain email address, which I guess qualifies as a work account.
When I try to enroll at the Commercial Marketplace program (under Account Settings > Programs), the first page asks for Company Information.
Must I have a registered company in order to publish custom visuals? Is it not possible to publish visuals as an individual?

Answering my own question for others' benefit: the short answer is "yes".
If you want to publish custom visuals, even if you want to make them available for free, a legal entity has to be registered, and it will go through a pretty rigorous verification process before you are allowed to publish your visual.
Adding my experience.
They are also ask documents to confirm that your organization is bought domain (not you).
If you bought domian in AWS (they don't provide such document). it's problematic pass verification.
In invloce AWS has only statemet for service Route 53
