Hello everyone, very new to the wonderful world of Deneb like many others.
I have tried to add comments to my code by using
// comments
/* comments */
But receive error message...
What is the proper way to comment code in Deneb?
Thanks!

Hi @Salle,
Comments aren't a supported feature of JSON, so likewise Deneb currently does not support them.
Version 2.0 will have updated functionality to support JSONC (JSON with JavaScript style comments). Whilst v2 development is in progress and currently doesn't have a solid ETA, I have a short walkthrough of this feature available here if you want to see how it will work when it is delivered.

Thanks Daniel! Have stumbled upon your Deneb feedback a couple of times now and appreciate your responsiveness. While I'd love to make notes for myself in my code as I'm learning Deneb and Vega, it's so much easier knowing it's not an option yet vs spending hours trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Yay internet!
@Salle When you find out, I want to know too. I couldn't figure this one out.
Ha ha, really Greg? I was sure I needed glasses or something or a crash course in google search... 😄
