Date Hierarchy Only Showing Year for Clustered Column

I am trying to create a clustered column chart showing data for user and each month. The problem that I am running into is that PowerBI will only allow me to show the data for each user by year and not month when using the data hierarchy.

I previously created this chart with data uploaded from a local folder connection and changed the connection type to a SharePoint Folder. When using the local folder connection, I was able to create traditional data hierarchies down to the day but my only option now is to the year. I am still able to create slicers for months and can create tables with the full data set but am only able to visualize data from the year perspective. All data is in the same format as when uploaded from my local folder structure. Is there a way to visualize this data in a monthly format?
