Chart used as filter but resets filter when switching pages

Good Afternoon,

I've been doing some research and did not really find anything about how to keep the selection the user picked after drilling down, so after they drill down and come back to the original page whatever they selected is gone. 

Is there a possible fix for that?

Ex:

Lets say user selected red then goes to a line chart to drill down to see the sales for red then comes back to the page all is selected but I would like it to be red.
