Bar Chart Categories Not showing when data filtered.

Good morning everyone. 

I'm producing a bar chart to show discrete data.  The output of machines. We have 12 machines and I would like to see the data for all machines even if zero.  I have selected "show items with no data" and also put +0 to the end of the calculation. 

When I choose a large time scale filter on the visualisation . E.g year , all 12 machines data is visible.  However I report on data from the previous working day.  If those machines haven't been used in the previous working day.  I'm struggling how to include a value of zero also.
