Adding localization to Display Names in Capabilities Panel

Hi,

I am trying to add localization to the capabilties in "dataRoles". Followed this link: https://github.com/Microsoft/PowerBI-visuals/blob/master/Visual/Locale.md but the locale string is not reflecting. Can anyone give me better example? Also can anyone point me to better example of how to enable localization in your custom visual for e.g., changing tooltip header?

I am using API 1.6.0

Hi nikhilkabbin,

this feature doesn't work using debug ("pbiviz start" command) at this moment. You can create a package .pbiviz and import it into web service or desktop. It should work correctly this way. Let us know if it doesn't work for you.

Hi MaksimGaliev

Thanks for the solution. It is working now. Just wondering when shall we expect testing these locale in debug mode?

It's going to be fixed by next week.
