How can I get the header of a column I have used for creating a visual.I need to display the column name in the Tooltip.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You should use something like this:
options.dataViews[0].categorical.categories[categoryIndex].source.displayName; // categoryIndex is an index of the category that you want to include to the tooltip

Are you developing a custom visual?
If so, you can get column name using displayName propertry of the metadata.
