The dashboard offers a comprehensive analysis of Briarport's urban livability performance against 11 peer cities, spanning the period from 2015 to 2024. Key metrics include Housing Affordability, Transit Score, Green Space, Emissions, and an overall Livability Index, providing a multi-faceted view of urban quality of life.
The dashboard is structured across five distinct pages: an Executive Overview for high-level insights, a Time Series Analysis to track trends over time, Strategic Focus Areas for targeted interventions, an Environmental Analysis, and a Strategic Blueprint for actionable recommendations. Each section is meticulously crafted to provide clear, actionable intelligence for urban planners and policymakers.
A core technical feature of this solution is the integration of dynamic comments and insights that automatically adjust based on the selected year. This advanced implementation, leveraging sophisticated DAX capabilities, ensures that the narrative and key takeaways remain relevant and precise as users explore different timeframes.
