Week 3 - NFL Franchise Historical Analysis

In this project, I looked at the scores and gambling lines of every NFL game since 1966 and analyzed the data from three distinct perspectives: straight up, spread, and over/under.

I wanted this to be an experience for the end user and allow them to interact with the information that is presented. There are a number of slicers on the page that allow the viewer to cut the data and view the stats however they please. The buttons at the bottom of the page allows the user to switch the perspective of the data they are viewing. The bar graphs have tooltips set up that, when hovered on, give additional information on the specific games relevant to that bar. The information button in the top right takes you to the data sources and the question mark button takes you to an explanation page. The Accessibility toggle in the top left switches the color scheme for a more accessible experience.

When building this, I thought of it as a historical tool to allow users to quickly retrieve information from specific scenarios that are likely to recur again, giving them the ability to garner quick insights about them. My Favorite team is the Jacksonville Jaguars, which is why that is the pre selected option. To get started, select your favorite team in the slicer in the top left and explore!
